HUSKIES HELPING HUSKIES GET A UW INTERN THIS SUMMER Student interest in internships is through the roof, but there aren’t enough positions to meet the demand. You can help fill the gap — get a Husky intern while they’re home from school for the summer! Two webinars on March 28 and April 25 will show you how easy it is to kick off an internship program. Find resources and learn more to get started. careers.uw.edu/create-an-internship HUSKIES@WORK Every May and November, students and alumni join together for a unique job shadowing program. Connect with a student virtually — over Skype or tele– conference — and tell them about your career. Past destinations include the Bay Area, New York City, Washington D.C. and Portland. DINNER WITH DAWGS In February, we kicked off this program inviting students into the homes of alumni for small, casual dinner parties. The response was tremendous, with over 300 students signing up to take part. To learn about future dinner dates, email Amanda at alobsing@uw.edu.
