2015 United Way Community Partners Why give directly to United Way Community Investment?
United Way Community Investment focuses on the core issues that improve lives and change community conditions for people in the 40-towns of central and northeastern Connecticut. We look at the big picture. A good education is essential to getting a good job. An income that can cover today’s needs and save for tomorrow solidifies a family’s foundation. Good health helps children succeed at school and enables adults to be productive at work. It’s all CONNECTED. No one organization can do it alone. That’s why giving to United Way Community Investment is the best way to build a stronger community for all of us. We measure results and outcomes, and holistically help connect children and families with opportunities for a better life. It is through connecting people and passions that we’re able to make our region an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
