COMMUNITY INVESTMENT INTEREST AREAS

U nited Way and its partners focus on the core issues that improve lives and change community conditions in EDUCATION, FINANCIAL SECURITY, ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE SERVICES, and BASIC NEEDS – these are the building blocks for our lives and community.

EDUCATION: Children succeed academically and in life. INCOME: Families become financially secure and independent. HEALTH: Individuals lead healthier lives. BASIC NEEDS: Everyone has food, shelter and other essential services.

UNITED WAY COMMUNITY INVESTMENT PARTNERS

United Way is about lasting solutions. Gifts directed to United Way have the greatest impact on changing community conditions in our 40-town region. When you make a gift to United Way Community Investment you support programs at all of the United Way agencies listed below - as well as the full member charities of our partners at Community Health Charities of New England (see reverse side). If you wish to designate your gift directly to one or more of our partner agencies, when making your gift, you may write in the name or code provided.
