THE UWCSEA FUND 2017/2018 You make the difference.

“If we are to be a great UWC, as opposed to a great international school, we need to bridge a chasm. That bridge cannot be built solely from fees but has its substance in passion, kindness and generosity. Chris Edwards, Head of College

THE UWCSEA FUND SUPPORTS FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS ‘Unite people, nations and cultures’ Use the power of education to bring together a diverse group of young people so they can become community leaders and find solutions to some of the world’s most intractable problems. Gifts enhance the diversity of UWCSEA through the Scholarship Programme, support refugee scholarships, and enable these experiences to be as rewarding as they can be.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ‘Create a sustainable future’ Address the peace and social justice challenges by raising the living standards of humanity while respecting the planetary ecological boundaries. Gifts allow the College to develop exciting opportunities for our students to build the skills and understanding needed for shaping a sustainable future.

PRIORITIES

(The UWCSEA Fund was formerly known as the Annual Fund.)

TEACHING AND LEARNING ‘Exceptional learning experiences’ Deliver a holistic, values-based education that develops young people as individuals and as members of a global society. Gifts support pioneering learning programmes, innovative staff professional development, and experiential learning initiatives that will equip students for life.

ENDOWMENT ‘Support the long-term future of UWCSEA’ Strengthen the legacy of the College and support its continued growth and development. Gifts provide the freedom to seize opportunities as they emerge and support the long-term financial plan of the College so that future generations can benefit from a UWC education.
