Give with impact

The UWCSEA Annual Fund is driven by the collective force of our community, which empowers students to both imagine and embrace opportunities that make the world a better place. As a non-profit school, our focus for philanthropy is to extend UWCSEA’s exceptional world-class programmes in ways that go above and beyond for our students.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Your gift will provide access to a life-changing UWC education that opens doors to a future filled with opportunity and possibility.

Over the years, UWCSEA has educated 1,170 scholars from 112 countries. This year, 106 scholars will enrich our cultural and intellectual diversity and enhance learning and understanding for all. While every family contributes to the Scholarship Programme through school fees, donations allow us to offer more scholarships to remarkable students from countries such as Colombia, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, and Ukraine.

Deng ’25, Grade 12 scholar from South Sudan, comes to UWCSEA from a refugee camp in Uganda. Since joining East Campus last year, Deng has excelled in sports and service, and continues to inspire us all with his hard work, resilience, and leadership skills.

“My hope has been restored and my future is becoming brighter. This path is now real for me and my community. I am at the front of the line, and other children can dream of following.”

INNOVATION

Your gift will expand UWCSEA’s innovation ecosystem through curriculum developments, access to industry experts and improvements in learning environments and technologies.

Additional resources will give students greater agency to pursue their interests in the areas of technology, music, the arts, and academics, preparing them to be the next generation problem solvers and global leaders.

SUSTAINABILITY

Lucian ’25, a Grade 12 student, leads Competitive Robotics and the Robotics Club at Dover Campus, and uses this platform to spread his passion for creativity and technology.

“The UWCSEA curriculum encourages students to take ownership of their learning. It has nurtured and encouraged me to explore my drive and passion for robotics since I joined UWCSEA in Grade 4.”

Your gift will empower students with ambition and dedication to tackle environmental issues to cultivate the skills and mindset needed for a sustainable future.

Because of community-funded programmes such as the Green Heart outdoor classroom on Dover Campus and Zero Waste initiatives at East Campus, students gain more hands-on experience in environmental stewardship and develop systems thinking and leadership abilities.

Trisha ’25, a Grade 12 student at East Campus, served as an Environmental Initiatives Officer to ensure the success of student-led programmes that focus on waste reduction, recycling and upcycling, and marine conservation advocacy.

“What excites me most about the environmental projects that I am working on, is being able to see the impact we can have on our school community.”

Make a difference

“We’ve been supporting UWCSEA for the past 14 years since our daughter graduated. Georgia benefited immensely from her UWC education, and we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the high-quality, holistic education the College offers. Knowing our contributions help make this possible for other children is incredibly meaningful to us.”
