What is Circle K all about? Volume 1 Issue 5 January – February 2012
LEADERSHIP
Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world. With more than 12,600 members in 17 nations, CKI is making a positive impact on the world every day.
LEADERSHIP SERVICE Circle K clubs are organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club FELLOWSHIP
on a college or university campus. CKI is a self-governing organization and elects its own officers, conducts its own meetings, and determines its own service activities. CKI blends community service and leadership training with the opportunity to meet other college students around the world. Projects such as the Six Cents Initiative, CKI’s International fundraiser that aims to provide water to the 2.2 billion children worldwide who lack safe drinking water, bring CKI members together to make a difference in the world.

Make An Impact Volume 1 Issue 5 January – February 2012
MAKE AN IMPACT—$5 CAN CHANGE A CHILD’S LIFE
The children of our world need us—for food, shelter, safety. How can you help? By giving US$5 The $5 per member suggested donation raises money for Kiwanis International Foundation’s Annual Club Fund, which helps the foundation serve children in local communities around the world through Kiwanis-family grants. Annual club gifts also determine the number of district matching scholarships made available every year. Be inspired by the impact of Annual Club Gifts. Learn how the Texas-Oklahoma District helped provide much-needed medical assistant to the children of India, and how low-income families in Minnesota were touched by the food assistance provided by the local Kiwanis club. Your gift supports grants that help the Kiwanis family serve over 125,000 children each year, both internationally and locally. To date, the foundation has given more than US$100 million back to Kiwanis-family clubs and districts to help children lead happy, healthy and productive lives. Ready to make a difference? Donate today. More info available at circlek.org
