Working together It’s all about team work and planning to make sure your event runs smoothly. Conference Services work with internal departments and Schools to provide advice and support on hosting conferences as well as arranging the
logistics of your event. We’ve been involved in assisting in departmental conferences and events such as the Psychology Network Event, UKLA Conference, ARLIS (Art Librarianship Society) Annual Conference, Employers
Network Forum, BPS Forensic Psychology Conference, Enhancing Student Engagement Conference, Santander Collaborative Road-show and the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport (IAPS) Conference.
“Thanks again for your help with the planning and execution of the event yesterday, I was very pleased with the outcome - it all went very smoothly.” Dr Caroline Limbert, Cardiff School of Health Sciences “It was a great privilege to host this conference at Cardiff Met and we are extremely pleased that the event was so incredibly well received by all the delegates. Many thanks to each of the Cardiff Met staff who contributed so fully to the conference either through speaking, attendance as a delegate, or via the excellent organisation and hospitality provided” Emma Adamson, Head of Library Services at Cardiff Met If you work closely with external associations or societies or attend subject specific conferences nationally or internationally, why not suggest Cardiff Met as the venue for their next
conference? We’ll assist in the proposal, planning and on the day logistics to ensure a successful event while bringing kudos to the university and your School /Department.
