Future Studies

Successful completion of Academic Level 5 is a direct pathway to programs in undergrad studies, PACE, and graduate studies.

ELP provided an array of activities that developed my writing, reading, listening and speaking competencies. I also discovered new things through listening to the ideas and experiences of other people. We did a lot of reading and writing tasks that are so beneficial if you plan to continue in the University. ELP taught me strategies…that are so critical in academics and even in business set-up.

Hybrid Delivery Method

uwinnipeg.ca/elp/alternate-delivery-course.html

ELP uses a hybrid delivery method. Classes will be delivered in-person for students who are able to travel to Winnipeg. A remote delivery option is available to those joining us from abroad. With some guidance from our staff, students can choose which delivery method is right for them.

In-Person and Remote Instruction

Students using remote delivery will join the class via zoom and be able to interact with the in-person students and instructor via smart camera. Each class will have a teacher assistant on zoom to assist remote learners with class participation.

Online Learning Management System

All students will use Nexus, our learning management system. Nexus provides students with:

› Weekly class schedule and content from instructors (handouts, articles, videos etc.)

› Access to quizzes and a place to submit assignments

› Discussion boards to communicate with fellow students and receive help from instructors

I like ELP programs so much that I decided to take online classes without any hesitation. I was a bit worried… But once it started it was beyond my expectation. All of my three teachers are very hard-working, dedicated, and excellent.

Our commitment

ELP is committed to continuing to offer a quality program to international students with flexible delivery options.

Student Connection

Sudents will interact with their peers in online group activities organized by our qualified Student Life staff.
