Prior to enrolling she was working as a child care assistant in a daycare, but she had her eye on something more. Victoire’s sister told her about PACE’s full-time Educational Assistant Diploma Program. Originally from Ivory Coast, Victoire hesitated initially because of her developing English skills. With her sister’s encouragement she took courses to enhance her English, and was eventually accepted into the PACE program which left her feeling as nervous as she was excited. Victoire says, thanks to the support she received from PACE’s staff and instructors, her nervousness quickly disappeared. With help she gained trust in herself,

Making your education count Did you know that you may be able to transfer previous course work towards one of the many programs at PACE? Many people come to PACE already holding an undergraduate degree or college credential. People also come to PACE without any previous education and ladder their PACE certificate, diploma, or course work towards earning a degree. Whether to add career finishing to previous education or to begin an educational journey, we help you tie all the pieces together and make all your education count!
PACE programs can simultaneously count towards a degree and help fast-track your educational goals. The University of Winnipeg recognizes transfer credit from more than 15 PACE programs - some programs can earn you up to 30 hours of credit, which is equivalent to one-third of a three-year degree.
