Excellence In Education Awards Ceremony

United Way of Midland was honored to serve as the fiscal agent for the 2022 Excellence in Education Awards' Ceremony. The event, sponsored and underwritten by local foundations and businesses, recognizes area educators and support staff that go above and beyond in local classrooms and campuses. The awards included Elementary Teacher of the Year, Secondary Teacher of the Year, Unsung Hero, Rookie Teacher of the Year, Veteran Teacher of the Year, Campus of the Year, and a few speciality awards

PROJECT BLUEPRINT - PREPARING TODAY, LEADING TOMORROW

BLUEPRINT project

Project Blueprint is a unique program for United Way Worldwide that initially started in the 1990's. The program prepares emerging and current multicultural leaders for roles on nonprofit and public sector boards. United Way of Midland's new program focuses on Leadership, Networking, Mentoring, and Board Service. The 2022-2023 program included six training sessions, a board fair/networking opportunity, and graduation.

AN ONLINE NAVIGATION SYSTEM THAT CAN CONNECT ORGANIZATIONS TO ADDRESS THE PERMIAN BASIN'S SOCIAL, HEALTH, AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.
