sTACeY WHITE Head Coach Set to begin her 11th season at the helm of the UW-Stevens Point volleyball program, head coach Stacey White continues to take strides to return the program back into the top half of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) standings.

White enters the 2011 season with the second-most wins in UW-Stevens Point history with 157, behind only legendary coach Nancy Schoen, who led the Pointers to their only conference championship in 1981. White holds a career mark of 157-183 and has coached eight WIAC All-Conference performers. The 2010 Pointers posted a 21-13 record, including a 3-4 record in WIAC play. They qualified for the conference tournament for the second straight season and had a plus .500 record for the first time since 2007.
White, a Monticello, Minn. native, was the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn. prior to coming to UW-Stevens Point. She graduated from UW-River Falls in 1998 with a degree in Health and Human Performance and added a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota while coaching at Concordia. White has also coached two junior Olympic squads, leading the 18-and-under St. Croix Valley team and the 16-and-under Club Tonka squad in Minnetonka, Minn.
