PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL EXCHANGES International virtual exchanges connect faculty and their classes in two or more countries. Students from both countries collaborate on assignments, class projects or presentations with the help of communication technology. We support faculty in the development of these courses. M

GLOBAL AMBASSADORS PROGRAM F ul

Our Global Ambassadors program brings together students for monthly discussions about social justice issues and for informal socializing throughout the academic year. By purposefully engaging with peers from cultures and communities around the world, Global Ambassadors develop cultural humility, empathy and cross-cultural communication skills.

As an urban-serving university in Tacoma, we aim to connect with universities and community-based organizations in Tacoma’s sister cities around the world. We encourage faculty to develop study abroad opportunities, virtual exchanges and institutional partnerships, and welcome international students and scholars from our sister cities.
