professional STUDENT INTERN Atlas Industries Ltd July 2010 - August 2010 Being the leader in a team of five, I gained much experience in how to work out smoothly with other members in a group, how to manage time and how to follow up the workflow and push it up effectively. Working in this professional environment was also an excitting opportunity to me. Making a 3D model of a mixed-use project in 2 weeks, from the formation to details, was such a challenging experiment to manage working with the workset in REVIT ARCHITECTURE for me and the team members. STUDENT INTERN NDVA Design and Construction July 2011 - August 2011 Row house concept and building up a 3D model individually was what I learnt in this period of time.

INSTALLATION EXHIBITION|1 YEAR
0 2m
The chosen site is in the Univeristy Hall where students gather mostly in resting time. It would attract every eyesights to take a glance inside the construction.
EXHIBITION 2009 Semester 2| Forming Spaces
Location: HCMC University of Architecture, HCM City Issue Introduction: Installation art describes an artistic genre of three-dimensional works that are often site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space. The task asked student to understand how to literally think a concept and develop it into reality. The Installation could contain exhibitions related to students’ projects (photos, mock-up, drawings...)
Concept: Author considered the project as a rectangular cuboidal construction with a series of blob-shaped voids piercing its volume. Transparent tubes with different sizes would be used to contain the projects.

COMMERCIAL CENTER 2011 Semester 1| Public building Location: District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
Issue Introduction:
Bến Thành Market is a large marketplace in central Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam in District 1. It is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and one of symbols of Hồ Chí Minh City. The site is on a commercial street and close to many tourism sightseeings which could be listed as: + 23/9 Park where leads to the backpackers’ streets - providing accomodations for backpackers + a major hub for the network of Ho Chi Minh city buses serving + Le Loi boulevard, a commercial street, welcomes thousands of tourists visit every year. Due to that fact, how a brand-new contruction could stand up and have a conversation with the old ones is a tough challenge for students to handle.

Relationship between the site and the context
011
As a commercial center, the project mostly aim at TOURISTS - because tourism is a major source of income in this area. From Quach Thi Trang Square, what could we see at the site? From the site, what could we expect to experience? Which geometry would fits the context? ...

Applying a rectangular cubic so as to meet the required area. The geometry would lead the people flow only to the front of the building.
Dividing the shape into two parts in oder to let the flow get through inside.
Then, the form would be bended to become two halves of an eyering so as to let people stay in the construction longer and take their time to wander around.
Finally, parallely slide two parts slightly to narrow the entrance. Consequencely, there are more faces contact to the outdoor, which also means to have more opportunities to attract the flow.

Concept:
Using Precedents in Architecture (Roger H. Clark & Michael Pause)as the standard to brainstorming the form and the solution for the parti. Besides the requirement, the author aimed to build up an effective idea so as to provide as much greening spaces for the residents.

YEAR
Located in a residential area, the site requires the student to think of a solution for the living environment. How to reduce the noise mostly, provide as many amenities as possible to the inhabitants living here is the big question for this project. Which form could be possibly contributed in this residential area?

Issue Introduction:
Me Linh Point is one of the most important location in the Central Business District of Ho Chi Minh City.
COMMERCIAL OFFICE BUILDING|5
MID-RISE OFFICE BUILDING
The site will promise to have an interesting conversation with Thu Thiem - the new urban metropolitan - which could be planned with many modernism contemporary buildings . The construction built here will have many opportunities topresent the Eastern coast of Sai Gon river.
It is necessary to pay attention to the circulation inside and outside the strategic site .As a commercial office building, the construction should draw as many people come inside as possible.
Due to that fact, the proposed atrium which cuts through the site would increase the amount of options to access as well as atrract more people visit the building.

Issue Introduction:
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a large memorial which preserves the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Each year, thousands of people visit this place. People who want to come inside the Mausoleum have to queue up in line in spite of the hot weather. Due to that fact, the manager established the contest to find out a solution to prevent the visitors from the harsh climate there.

Star ~Communism ~Golden ratio
The five-pointed red star is often used as a symbol of communism. It is sometimes understood to represent the five fingers of the worker’s hand, as well as the five continents. A lesser known suggestion is that the five points on the star were intended to represent the five social groups that would lead Russia to communism: the youth, the military, the industrial labourers, the agricultural workers or, and the intelligentsia.

Issue Introduction:
Located at the north-eastern fringe of the Mekong Delta and the South of the East sea, “low-lying” and “marshy lands “ are some words that can be used to describe about Ho Chi Minh City. The city is extremely sensitive to water matters due to the elaboration of a complex network of canals which regulate and balance the water system in the city. A bold plan which is along Nhieu Loc canal is chosen for performing water experiments in our Project.
