Our convergent shapes are reversibly and efficiently assembled. And because of more than one excuse on each monomer in three dimensions, it is very flexible. Besides, the inner steel material solves the stress problem. We explored the use of metaball ceramics monomers to make prefabricated modules and create pavilion through digital algorithms.

Ceramics contain all kinds of products made from natural clay and minerals. Ceramics were used as early as the Neolithic age, accompanying mankind for thousands of years. It has become a part of cultural achievments. Today, ceramics are widely used in different industries.

In some countries with a long history, such as China and Turkey, there are many folk artists who draw elaborate traditional patterns by hand on ceramics while some scientists experiment with how to color ceramics in the USA.

Many technologically advanced places already have automated ceramics factories and 3D printers. People can customize a large number of unique ceramics to their own needs.

Zircon stone is mainly found in seashore sand deposits which are scattered around the coast. The mining ship collects the sediment mixed with ore by means of dredging and lifting from the seabed. It carries out the first simple screening on the ship to remove the sediment and retain the deposit.

In the chemical plant, zirconite will be purified by reaction with a series of chemicals, and finally zirconia crystals

The Inner Structure

Cause the ceramics can not stand the torque, the inner structure must transfer the torque into axial force.

The inner structure is made of steel to realize the changeable body outside.

To improve structural rigidity, threaded connection may be the best way to connect steel bar and steel ball.

However, these zirconia crystal particles are still too large, because the voids and porosity are still too large, which will result in insufficient strength of the fired embryo.Therefore, zirconia crystals need to be sent into the chemical plant for chemical vapor phase method, after which nano-sized dust will be obtained.

Nano-sized particles are shaped into embryos by mechanical compression moulding in the factory instead of relying on traditional manual processes.During the compression moulding process, tiny gas is further discharged to reduce the porosity. Finally, a dense embryo body is obtained.

Interfacess are connected with center ball by steel bars.

Steel bar and ball are the best choice to form inner structure.

The embryo body is baked and molded at a high temperature of 1600 ℃ in the firing plant. In the end, a high-strength and high-hardness zirconia ceramic module is produced.

Considering the need of multiple body-aggregation, the effectiveness of interfaces needs to be high. Type4/6 can meet the third need. Considering the expressive effect, there must to be line bodies to provide connection between bodies. Type 8/9 are added.

We have chosen four type as our basic parts, and bring them in line the way is divided into two types, one is the basic of planar: typeA and typeB. One is a linear basic parts: TypeC and typedD, we will first planar basic piece combination, combination group that can appear in the form, then we will face and the line are combined, the combination of thought, line and plane in the form of the closest we want to get the feeling of organism, and the other a kind of linear combination is not in conformity with the mechanical structure, was eventually we give up, then make a simple combination of these basic parts, evaluation, to select the better comprehensive performance as basic unit.

Moreover, the Chinese elements are integrated into its shape, like the chair which the concubines learn against during the Qing Dynasty. The table is made up of four types. Its shape is similar to the tea table in the Han Dynasty, while the pink and blue metaball ceramics combine together regularly to give it a futuristic look. Furniture Joint Attempt

Series Furniture After showing the joint part, we make a series of furniture and matching combination forms. The shapes of these furniture refer to ancient furniture research and modern creative home design. The scenes showed below are combinations of desks and chairs formed by ceramics. We want to creat a relaxing atmosphere in which people can have fun with using these furniture.

We designed a ceramic pavilion formed by hundreds of meatballs. We hope this material will connect the inner space with the natural environment outside and the ceramic metaball will rich the space experience. So we choose the transparent facade and the top lighting which will make the pavilion look like an organic cave.

What is the city today for us? A modern city on the rise? A cosmopolitan city open to communication? To be sure, the rate of urbanization in China is staggering around the world. However, if the construction standard we refer to is just a lie, just like the story city and sky 2 in the book<Invisible city> —— what we look up to is only a beautiful shell, and the city we build is only our own cage in the end. All this is particularly evident in the current urban renewal of Chongqing. When Raffles Plaza replaces the old pier, perhaps the time for regret has passed.

The old pier The old pier was the starting point of the development of modern Chongqing. Bang Bang helped carry goods and human power boosted the economy.

The HongYa hole

Digging the mountains and filling the valleysďźŒwe transformed the environment and built modern cities. The city was finally resdy for high-rise building, which is the representative of the modern city.

When people began to yearn for the past, they built HongYa Hole, a modern imitation of a man-made scenic spot in a mountain city.

Raffles City Raffles City won the bid for the Chaotianmen Pier, with giant sails towering over the confluence of the two rivers. The city ended up symbolizing itseif with this high-rise rather than its former appearance.

Before the wall was built, hundreds of thousands of people fled East Berlin each year, and many more fled at the cost of their lives. No west Germans would cross the so-called "anti-fascist barrier". They were content to be "prisoners". The existence of the wall divides the city into good half and bad half. That makes people in the bad half escape at any cost and those in the good half be its prisoners.

Therefore, we believe that Beijing's biggest problem is not to focus on dispelling poverty, but to reshape the urban structure. In this case, the so-called free "we media" actually do a very bad thing, because these "we media" pay more attention to the problem and make complaints instead of looking at the problem from a larger perspective and seeking solutions. Therefore, if you want to achieve the authentic aspect of the city, you must discard any media and then every minute you feel in the city is the most authentic.

Bernard Tschumi At the beginning of the 20th century, when the West entered the industrial society, it advocated that modern architecture should adapt to the industrial society and emphasized that "architects should study and solve the practical functions and economic problems of architecture". Under the influence of the thought of modernist architecture, a large number of simple, pure and universal industrial buildings have been created all over the world. Tschumi had rethought the nature of architecture, and his conclusion was subversive: what defines architecture is not form, nor simple function, but the events that occur within it. In Tschumi's opinion, architecture should be a reaction and enclosure to this series of events. In《The Manhattan Manuscript》, Tschumi regarded the building as the superposition of three systems: the space system, the event system and the motion system, and the split between them was the starting point of tschumi's building. Once the split occurs, the pieces can be combined in any way, which is the effect of montage, stimulating the association between the pieces and forming the whole. "When you enter a building, it's like entering a whole new story. You walk through the parts of the building in an orderly fashion, like a sequence in a movie, and the parts together make up the story." These projects guide the user spontaneously, provided by the revolutionary use of his space by the method of organizing events hints at a more effective way of life than usual, not only from the perspective of aesthetics and symbolism, but through recombination sequence, space and culture atmosphere. The wall builders live in the outside place where dager and ruins outside the wall city can be seen everyday. Their main task is building and expanding the wall city under the guidance of priests. Background Traffic conditions often reflect the development speed and prosperity degree of a city. Chongqing was a mountain city, and the transportation used to rely on bangbang to carry goods who measure the mountain city with feet.

With the rapid development of economy, there emerged need of convenient transportation, high-rise building and other things which seem necessary in a modern city. More and more places dig mountains and fill valleys, lay overpasses and build bridges to connect the cliff and two sides. Thus, taxis can zoom along smooth roads.

Despite its impressive growth, Chongqing is still reluctant to stop development. They even dig up hills, fill up the ground, and build international airports between mountains.

Bang Bang, a group of people left in the corner by society. Bang-bang was originally a tool for carrying goods, but it bacame the name of this group. That more or less doomed their fate. They also contributed to the city and should not huddle in a corner now. Can co-habitation relieve their financial and mental stress?

Chongqing was opened as a commercial port on March 31, 1890 when China and Britain signed the Treaty of Yantai to renew special Regulations. Since then Chongqing became a transport hub in southwest China, which is mainly composed of water transport. A lot of goods had to rely on artificial transhipment, it required a lot of manpower to finish carrying goods from the river to the upper city, "Bangbang" grew at that moment.

Social Property

1940 Chongqing was established in 1983 as the country's first comprehensive economic reform pilot city. After the reform and opening up, the economy developed greatly and more goods were shipped to Chongqing. But the mountain city still need Bangbang to carry out manual handling. As a result, large numbers of rural people from all over the country have come to Chongqing to make a living as Bangbang.

Strangers: Bangbang came from all over the country, and many of them came from the countryside in the early 1980s to do odd jobs and earn a living. So they are foreigners in Chongqing.

Although the world of Bangbang is mostly made up of Bangbang and they depend on each other for a living, they are not really family. After in-depth study, I realized that they had experienced too much suffering and parting. Redefinition is to hope that through co-renting, lonely Bangbang can realize that they are not tools and become socially connected again.

Bedroom Furniture Type In order to improve space utilization and meet various functional requirements, furniture and beds are highly integrated in the form of folding boards, while retaining a variety of variants.

The integrated design can also reduce the sense of oppression brought by the small room, with the help of folding board Bangbang can easily pick up and put down items conveniently.

Through the holes reserved in the wall, wooden boards and small round sticks, the useless wall can be turned into the wall of store, expanding the storage space. At the same time, stick and plank can be combined to meet different needs.

DESIGN PROJECTS #1: Porcelain Degree (Group work) 07/2020-2020.08 �Brief: Designed an organic exhibition pavilion with parametric design. The shape refers to the metaball, making of ceramic materials. And the structure is composed of steel structure and buckles so that the ceramic units could be infinitely aggregated and are easy to transport, construct, and dismantle. �My role: Physical analysis, structure design, type setting, partial parametric design. #2: Wall City (Individual work) 12/2019-04/2020 �Brief: This is a narrative architectural design. Inspired by the fable Invisible City, I aim to reflect on whether the current situation of blindly pursuing high-speed construction in a short term is right.
