Restoration Inspection Please find below Wild Automotive inspection advice on, 1966 Ford Thunderbird Viewed at 17 Marsden Rd St Mary's On the 23rd February 2015 On Behalf of Terry Kypreos Introduction The vehicle was presented at the private home of current owner. Viewing was slightly challenging due to being positioned in backyard and hemmed in by another 2 cars. General Condition The Thunderbird is in fair condition overall but is in need of major restoration to make road worthy and reliable. To make the vehicle of concourse quality, a full restoration with the replacement of 70%-90% of chrome, rubbers and fasteners. Body Current colour is a turquoise variant that looks to be a 2nd or 3rd layer of paint. The vin on the front apron was not visible without sanding and thinners. The bonnet showed signs of heat damage from an early electrical fire in the engine bay. The left-hand side of the TBird did not show any major signs of damage there was rust in the lower sill and bottom of the door. The rear quarter was in similar condition.
