It’s A Festive Spring In Bradenton! What can be better than good food, great music and a beautiful day near the water or on a gorgeous piece of farmland? No wonder festivals overflow Bradenton’s calendar each spring. Bring a chair or blanket to downtown Bradenton’s Riverwalk Mosaic Amphitheater for Music In the Park. Enjoy a variety of music styles and performances. This event is held at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Friday of the month in April and May. It’s a Street Party! Vendors open their booths up and down Main Street and live music plays throughout the night at Main Street Live! Come early for a drink, enjoy dinner, then groove to the music into the night with a new live band each month. Main Street Live! is coming up on April 16, May 2 and May 21. On the first Friday night and first Saturday of each month, the nationally recognized Village of the Arts hosts their Artwalk. Galleries, businesses and restaurants are open for chatting with the artists and buying their wide variety of artwork. Local farmers gather on Old Main Street in Bradenton from October through the end of May for the weekly Farmer’s Market. Farmers proudly display and sell their farm’s produce, plants and flowers. Local vendors sell freshly made food, jewelry and arts and crafts while an ever-changing group of musicians plays for the crowd. Love sampling craft brews? Local brew masters will feature their creations at the Pickin’ Picnic on May 23 from 2:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the Riverwalk Pavilion. Live music begins at 3:00 with a lineup of locally talented bands and performers. And food trucks will be onsite so you can try a number of diverse cuisines. There’s even a festival each month for your dog – the Yappy Hour Extravaganza at Motorworks Brewing. Complimentary treats for your four-legged friends, beer garden games and drink specials make it a special day outdoors.

Out on the islands one of the region’s most popular festivals is Food and Wine On Pine. Delicious and unique food from over 25 of the area’s finest restaurants, at least 30 upscale wines, 40 juried artists, 30 musical acts will keep you and your family busy all day as you stroll Anna Maria Island’s most popular streets. Summer welcomes beach-goers and outdoor enthusiasts, but come fall, some pretty amazing festivals delight and entertain visitors. No matter when you come to the Bradenton area, there are a variety of accommodations to choose from, a wide selection of cuisines, and plenty of adventure to experience. Festive Bradenton just needs you! See the upcoming events listed below. More can be found at http://www.bradentongulfislands.com/events/ April 3 & 4 April 16 April 19 April 24 April 26
