Synopsis The full time Accessory Design, BDes Program in National Institute of Fashion Technology is designed to develop comprehensive ability of macro level understanding of international market , changing trends with fashion scenario and a micro level hands on learning about materials, technology, production, construction, finishes, design principles, methodologies, design management and design communication. True to its strong industry focus, the successful completion of the program depends on the students’ ability to professionally demonstrate an all-round competence through a real life industry project. The 22 weeks duration Graduation Project is a constructive experience for the students and the industry to appreciate and account for all important parameters governing a specific market or consumer oriented range development maximizing the sponsoring industry’s strength. A specific brief is expected to be jointly developed by the sponsoring industry and the students based on which the students work out a detailed project proposal indicating the working methodologies, approaches and schedule with the clear definition of the project outcome. A clear articulation of the scope of the project including market consumer, product range specifications, trends, price range, material specifications and any others factors for defining the complete nature of the project is developed in the project brief which is required to be developed by the students in consultation industry client and faculty guide. The student need to make a database collection and research by essential inquiry into fashion trends, market definition, consumer profile and other relevant materials , production and technology feasibility to ensure a sound basis and focus to understanding client and consumer market which forms design parameters as a set of guidelines towards design development. The design criteria provides a platform for concept development and then onto sampling , initial prototyping and final prototyping with technical specifications.

On field helper User
On call helper The whole solution revoves around the wearable, the danger levels are divided into 2 levels out of which depending upon contact or no contact the user will press on her wearable and phone Application all the data will be stored in the application and so will the cloud for keeping a copy. If she presses level 1 she will recieve a call from the helpline number who will have her real time location and all the information needed for that moment, the helper will guide her out of the situation. On pressing the level 2 button a discreet call will be placed to the women’s safety police of that area who will be ready to rescue her out of the situation. All the evidence is pre-recorded and saved from the wearable on the cloud onto the companion application on phone. Apart from this we are encouraging women to share their incidents on the forums and build a community and share their stories the intent was to remove the shame associated towards sexual harassment and encouraging women to speak up so that everyone else is aware and that people react towards it and not accept. 79
Feature Listing The final features for the wearable were listed and categorized into feasilibility, desirability and adding features which will help the user optimize it for safety the maximum.

C
Interactions, material and the functioning had to be finalized for the wearable to give it a direction for product design to work upon it later. One of the idea was to add a self defense feature on the wearable so we jhad rtyo ffigure out teh various diffrent self defense weapons and whether they could be fit on the wrists, finally we arrived at two aoptions one was an electric shocker whic and a heating coil, there could be also spiky metal heads but all that was then refined into a pproduct.

Task Analysis A hierarchical task analysis was done which provides an understanding of the tasks users need to perform to achieve certain goals. A structured, objective approach to describing users' performance of tasks, hierarchical task analysis. As the user would be using the three mental modelsStressed under fear. Hence the cognitive load per task should be low. Whereas the second mental model Would be when she is sharing her story for which her stress should be relived through the mobile application by viewing others hence distributing her stress with others. Like this many user scenarios were noted down and each mental model prepared and considered to give the user best experience.
99
User flows Each information bucket would now be translated into user flows. By the understanding of the user goals and aspirations, their mental models the flows are designed for ease of operation quick access in times of danger and for promoting individual women to share their ideas and thoughts with others. Each flow was designed for comfort and joy and meeting all the user needs and creating an interface which the user will come again and again to.

How about adding features which she will use apart from safety, because danger doesn’t occur 24X7 there should be alternate features. Suggested while discussing the concept. 107

The wearable wireframes are made keeping in mind OLED screen hence the icons and all the dimensions are as per that value. Since the interaction will be gesture based the flow for the wearable will be mostly hap-tic vibrations. Screen will only switch on when the user looks at it.
121
Paper Prototype Paper prototype was made to understand the size, visibility and legibility of the wearable screen,a quick rapid mock-up wad made using an old watch and all the additional buttons were placed and worn for a week to understand various scenarios the user will go through and how can she optimize each move . How can the wearable enhance the experience.
123
-During the Role play Sessions understanding the different situations the wearable should be User friendly.
Role playing
Level 2 buttons needs to be more accessible, otherwise I can pretty much maneuver it around and discreetly press the button. 125

Visual design
D
The visual design is following the ux theme. So the main theme of empowerment, being bold had to be reflected in the visual design as well .We also wanted to keep away dull and feminine colors yet not shying away from the fact that feminine colors are what defines us so the user won’t hide but flaunt her shade of PINK.
Typography for Phone The Type size was taken as per the IOS guidelines for Iphone 6 and plus.
Helvetica neue 66pt light Helvetica neue 34pt regular Helvetica neue 20pt regular
Following the IOS principles the text body type chosen was Helvetica nue In both Heading and body because of its high legibility and sans serif type.
Typography for wearable Helvetica nue 14pt regular Helvetica nue 20pt regular
Following the wearable guidelines by fit-bit and tested it out on various OLED devices these specs were kept.

165
Scope and trends
R
2016 will be the year that millions of consumers for the first time will: Have their first video consults Be prescribed a health app, and Use their smart phones as diagnostic tools. This in turn will cause clinicians to practice in new ways, like: Incorporating insights from data analyses into their treatment plans. Conducting e-visits with behavioral health patients. Receiving alerts from remote patient monitoring devices sent home with newly discharged patients. The use of health-related smartphone apps have doubled in the last two years (16% to 32%)
Mobile care Big shift this year with the use of smartphones, connected medical accessories and apps. Reason: Consumers want “anywhere, anytime” monitoring, diagnosis and treatment. Money management In 2016 they’ll be looking for new ways to manage their healthcare spending. The 2015 survey found that more than half of 18- to 34-year-olds would be key drivers. Behavioral health moves to front of stage. Employers are opening their eyes and realizing that mental health is just as important as physical health. Shift in attitude.

Customer feedback
R
“Alerts do not make sense, if too many of them”. “The primary focus of today’s EHR design is the long list of regulatory reporting and billing requirements”.-Doctor “The requirement to exchange patient information between vendors is a nightmare. Once the application is deleted all the data is too! ”. -Generally people hate paid apps if they don’t give a trial period. -In case of customer care, it has to quick and clear contact should be provided. -After Getting Sensitive data keep it secured within. -Unlike in India, US does not have a Strong Family Support System, which is quite needed for the patient in panic & Recovery mode. -By using customer behavior data. the retail industry can predict if you are going to get married, divorced, have a child, go to college, or buy a home. They do this by identifying patterns. We cannot keep up with the healthcare trajectory Why? Because the technology we have focuses on disease, payer models, and standardized clinical protocols. “If the contacts could be synced with the app for listing colleagues it would save time and effort.”(Doctor using Parcto).

179
User
Cognitive and Emotional Needs.
After the client meeting and possible concept session, the mental model of the user was understood after which each flow was defined and listed. At every flow the emotional load was noted ,as we were designing for a Healthcare portal this part was very crucial. User’s flow was defined and information buckets were made to understand the information required on each step. User goals, needs & aspirations were listed and interpreted through persona.
181
C Concept After a lot of iterations and client calls we arrived at final solution and started building wire frames due to time crunch we had to quickly execute our ideas.
183
Patient portal
Care connect Doctor portal
Admin portal
Solution
C
The final solution was a teleconsultation portal for remote patient care. Patient can log into the portal and set an appointment with a doctor of choice and on the stipulated date the consultation will take place on video. The doctor can look at the last of scheduled calls for today and organize his daily schedule with the remote consultation appointments. This not only opens up the opportunity for quick connect to healthcare but also is helpful in post care follow ups-which usually is ignored but plays a crucial role. The cost of healthcare in US market is extremely high but with this solution everyone has access to healthcare at their fingertips. The Admin portal was made as a part of giving a complete solution. Admin will be monitoring various tasks and managing and appointing various different doctors.

The entire booking an appointment section has been divided into three sections according to the three mental model of the user identified. One being where the user is unaware of the type of pain he/she just knows the position and as they navigate the system guides them through explaining their pain area and suggesting doctor accordingly. Another use case would be when the user knows the department and directly books an appointment with them. Thirdly the user can also directly book an appointment with past consulted doctors in the favorites section.

Conclusion The experience fro six moths was one of a kind. there was immense learning, not just acadamically but also growth as an individual. Working on Live projects taught me a whole quantum of skills right from iterating, technical details to communicating to a client who is unaware of the design process. Working in a group taught me leadership skills required to work in an organisation and managing the project as well as adhereing to the timeline. We were mentored by Highly trained and experienced profeshnals who have pioneered the way UX works in India. Following an exhaustive design process really broughtout the best out of the projects. With an open Industrial studio and all different design disciplines in one big room we got an opportunity to work and interact with people from other design departments. Overall it was a life changing and brilliant opportunity we got in the 8th semester of college to work in a studio like TATA Elxsi.
