The original book guides the reader to the old Istanbul through the ferry company: Şirket-i Hayriye. The author Eser Tutel has used a language as a way to create the sense of nostalgia questioning where are the old ferries...? In the selected chapters the hacked guide book will be guiding the contemporary reader to the co-authors perception of Istanbul with a little bit of imagination.
...we will be looking into a book inside a book. Black and White parts will be representing the original book while the red and the photos for the hacked one. The book will be edited-hacked for 2018 and will keep asking questions to the new reader with the intention of sustaining the books communicative manner.
