To whom it may concern, I’m Valentina and I’m an entusiastic fresh graduate interior architect! Until December 2018 I have been a student of master’s degree course in Architecture of Interiors, I graduated on 19th December at Polytechnic of Milan. In February 2016 I obtained bachelor’s degree in Science of Architecture. The educational path I’ve chosen allowed me to develop a strong ability in team building. Especially, this aptitude has taken great importance in my personal and educational experiences. Since long time, I’ve been involved in team sports and this has given me the possibility to learn how formative are situations on the playground. I could have done a comparison between sport and educational experiences as well as professional. Sport teaches me how important basic training and continuative repetition are to provide the ability of analysis and capability of reactions to new impulses. The educational potential of my study course allowed me to develop a personal critical thinking. Furthermore, the judgment ability concerning design issues in architectural spaces and urban areas evaluation skills and strengthen my explanatory capability in relation to your design purpose. I have acquired the ability to listen and debate thanks to the academic experience where different opinions and problems occurred during the develop of educational path. This is a fundamental condition both in sport team and in architectural team work planning where everyone need to fulfil its own role than achieve a result. This has emphasized my ability to pay attention to details, being able to analyse every single case in situations where more people were involved. My good communication skill is due to the continuous research of a comparison, of new points of view and dialogue between different opinions in working environment with the aim of a productive system. Since 2011, I have worked as waitress and barmaid in different restaurants and cafés. This kind of employment allowed me to learn how deal with complex professional issues, in situations of high work stress, too. Good propensity to establish relationships is essential in architectural, design and communication fields, where the final goal is the research of comfort and the satisfaction of people’s needs. Since my academic career is related to the design of interior spaces and furnishings, I would like to get involved in similar professional fields such as digital communication, brand design and textile design to broaden my capabilities to a wider spectrum . I’m strongly passionate about Art and during my studies, I had the possibility to study and train the main traditional artistic techniques. I hope to be able to use this knowledge in my future work environment. Integration in a new professional environment is a factor that contribute to building a career; for this, I know that hard work and dedication are the roots of success, and they could offer great and positive outcomes in my personal and professional growth. I find very interesting the potential possibilities given by new working oportunities, because they could be successful and fascinating insertions in working life. I’m entusiatic about new experiences that could strongly improve my skills and open my vision of professional context. My qualifications, skills, experiences and enthusiasm would make me a valuable candidate for a useful contribution in different design and artistic fields. Thank you for your time and consideration. The project proposes a new hypogeous architectural system - where the historical-artistic bonds are preserved - providing an opportunity to renew the landmark with a new functional and innovative use. The building guarantees the use of any part: the reorganization of the system in functional sectors, able to operate synergystically or separated, respond to any needs. The need of an inner flexible structure is a focal point in the design of a cultural an educational site: flexibility it’s byword of usability of spaces, to help the reconfiguration of the activities performed inside. Interior configuration and furniture giving the chance to modify, according to the need the space set to the educational activities. Operating through an evolution of the space - in the way to achieve an always major interaction between shared space and educational space - it will be able to improve the aptitude of intellectual exercise.

The new institutional complex is characterized by the union of four different buildings, which are connected to each other through a central lobby. Two buildings are dedicated to didactic functions, one is occupied by the gym and another contains the auditorium and the administrative functions. The lobby hallows the connection between single pavilions. Ventilation is optimized thanks to the double exposure of the buildings. T he presence of green roofs and a central patio, entails enormous advantages in terms of bioclimatic indexes and internal wellness of the users.

Think about places where we live (a office, a house, a cafÊ...); contemporary rhythms of life are organized in the city like a complex plot, that is made by neighborhood, districts, public and private spaces. To the contemporary evolution of lifestyles, correspond a different ways of living space and time. Space becomes an infrastructure, capable of responding to the community needs. It can be linked to the themes of social networks and networks: for this, design of city spaces needs new design approaches. Hybrid spaces represent a rapidly growing area and a challenge for urban development: they are spaces inhabited by people who are very different from each other, used at all times and animated by various activities (work, play‌).

Urban Center Milano, MI
The new Urban Center is located in the city center of Milan, precisely within the arengario of the city, called Palazzo della Ragione. The aim of the project is to propose a new type of social center, which wants to address issues related to urban developments and social policies. The concept of Urban Center defines a place where the community can meet itself and debate on issues strongly connected to forms of participatory democracy. The project is developed as an architectural promenade inside the building. Thanks to this, the visitors can find out different steps of the design action: starting to the historical record and coming up to museum spaces.

Wood lab Molina Aterno, AQ
The project is placed in the Abruzzo countryside and in characterized by two different scale of interventions: the first one is dedicated to social issues of the area. The objective is fight against abandon phenomenon of the area, to reach project goals identified by population increase and economic growth. In this case, the project works on reactivation of traditional productive activities and local craftsmanship. The second step of the intervention, the architectural one, identifies its location in the Molina Aterno village. The specific building that is interested by the architectural proposal is the Molina Aterno railway station: the main building is converted into a wood processing pole, characterized by workshop spaces and material deposits. Roadman’s house is destined to manage the sales pole, and an exhibition area is placed in the city center.

A series of selected paintings and drawings - made by different artistic tecniques - is presented below. The collection picks up some of my favourite achievements, generally made by achrylic paint, pastel or graphite, and carried out on wooden or paper supports.
