Assonance Green Apples Green Apples, Sour and tart juicy and crunchy, they might even work as your lunchy. Apples are hard to get but don’t be upset because with a ladder you set you can twist it and turn it until you hear a loud crack, that simply means, You are ready to snack.
Onomonopia A day in the life of school The thunderin and screeching sound the first bell carries. Running from your car crashing the door shut, and stampeding across the school just to make it on time. During the middle of the day just when your stomach is starting to rumble the thundering sound of the lunch break goes on and everything starts to crumble. With everyone running hectic for their food You're just glad you have time off. Finally when the day comes to an end the enlightening twinkle goes off Like animals let loose from a cage everyone rumbles to someway somehow go home
Personification The Bakery The bakery called my name, So i eagerly ran to it, with my shoes in pain. From the hard bumpy street As i walked in all the yummy goods smiled at me. But out of all of them, the cupcake gave me the biggest smile of them all. As I grabbed it, the cupcake blissfully jumped into my stomach
Imagery The Candle
each room has a candle. My favorite candle is white and blue, It smells of fresh lavender with war vanilla. I see it’s light yellow flame flicker as if it were dancing, candles are a symbol of power, of serenity, each one is specially made, For a special person.
End Rhyme The Sea Sunny days are just the best, i hope i can enjoy the rest. With salty cheeks and sandy feet, I loved the coconuts i had to eat The waves are all crashing, with my body against them splashing. It burns my skin with shiney sun, but across the beach i always run. Collecting shells and sand dollars with friends, i just hope it never ends!
Simile/metaphor My life
In my life, I have always been an only child, some people say that i must be as lonely as a hermit crab, but really i am as happy as a butterfly. I am glad i got to be an only child, becauses it helped me become close with my parents, and be my moms best friend. I am a dancer, People expect me to be as graceful as a fairy when i walk, but really i am a clown outside of the dance room. In my childhood i had light brown curly hair, But in the summer of fourth grade, my hair turned more orange that the brightest orange. But after a year it went back to normal. I have no middle name and that bummed me alot, I felt just like a popcorn that just wouldn't pop! I thought to myself, My name is like rice so boring and bland, but then i thought and said no it rocks like a band!
Tone The Cupcake
Some sweetened bread.
A yummy delight!
With vanilla or chocolate.
it’s easy to bite!
Baked until perfect.
sweet and fluffy!
It wont fit in a pocket.
it's sort of a muffie!
With buttercream frosting squeezed on the top,
has sugar and spice and everything nice!
Thus little puff pastry is ready to rock.
A warm served cupcake ready to eat! It tastes a lot better than rotten old meat! More than 95 calories? Something i simply must not eat! i would much rather just eat some stinky old feet! With a layer of sugar? poured on the top? If i eat this whole cupcake. My scale might just pop!
Opposite Moods Cautious I've arrived at the party, I told my friend if she would come with me Once i entered i stood in the corner with my friend Someone dared me to splat in the pool I said no blah blah blah everyone is talking without me I leave the party

Hyperbole Homework Homework, tonight i have a hundred things to do, I piled them on my desk, They touched the roof My brain is going to explode! I wish a day had more than 24 hours, I have too many things to do! I have dance at school, Then i go home eat change for studio dance I stay at studio dance until 9:30, Then i go home take a shower and do homework. A day should most definitely have more hours!
Sonnet Period 8/9 A team Colorless thine lips pale is thy visage, Tis night and thy wallet is so empty, sleeping with distant unknowns which enrage. Alas thou is stuck in stupidity, Lost in a moment since twas just eighteen. Falling to pieces like old crumbled scones, looking for a better life inbetween life and death, all to feed her weakened bones. Drowning in a sea of cold loneliness, the lass cannot learn how to calmly float. An angel lost all of her happiness. Call girl no answer, seems to be remote. Spirit on her way to heaven tonight. No more time to arise and make her flight.
