The following guide will provide you with all you need to know about the hotel, as well as some useful information about the surrounding neighbourhood. We hope you enjoy your stay here at Zara Tower.
All apartments in Zara Tower come fully equipped with a full kitchen, complete with Gas Miele appliances, microwave and a dishwasher. In addition we offer reverse cycle air conditioning, ironing facilities, hair dryer, washing machine, clothes dryer, 50 inch HDTV, telephone and free WIFI service. For your convenience, we have provided you with instruction diagrams for these appliances.
The key card The key card allows you access to Zara Tower any time the front door is locked (i.e. between 6pm and 8am).
Television At Zara Tower we offer premium high definition cable channels. To operate the remote controls, please refer to the following:
Phone To use the phone, dial the specific number and press the tick button. National and international calls all cost 20 cents per minute. For your convenience we have issued your room with a telephone number so that people outside of the building can get into contact with you. This number was provided to you upon check in. Reception will be available 24 hours to answer any requests you may have. If you require any assistance or information, do not hesitate to contact reception by dialling 9 and pressing the tick button.

The Intercom You can use the intercom to let in visitors, or if you are ordering food to your apartment. To operate the intercom, just follow

just turn the middle dial located on the right hand side of the intercom.
Car Parking We offer valet service at Zara Tower. If you require your car to be valet parked, the cost is an additional $40 per night. Since we use a robotic parking stacker, please inform reception approximately 20 minutes before you need your car, and we will drive it to the front of the building for you. Rubbish and Recycling facilities: There is a garbage room located on every level of Zara Tower. In each garbage room there is a specific bin for general waste, glass and recyclables (which includes cardboard, paper and plastic waste). At the end of your stay, please dispose of glassware and recyclables in the appropriate bin.
Baby Cots and Trundle Beds: We have both baby cots and trundle beds available upon request. A baby cot will cost $20 to hire for the entire stay. A trundle bed will cost an additional $45 per night. The trundle bed is fitted for children, ages 2 – 13.
Cleaning services: For our long stay guests we include a free weekly clean, as per your schedule. If at any time you would require a turn down service, please inform the reception staff. The fee for the turn down service is $33 per clean.

Transport To explore all that Sydney has to offer you will have four options:
Walking The superb location of Zara Tower means that you have the best that Sydney has to offer at your doorstep. We are situated a short stroll from Hyde Park, Chinatown, Surry Hills and Darling Harbour. If you require any assistance with directions please enquire at the reception desk where we will be happy to provide maps and direct you to your destination.
Public Transport The website 131500.com.au will assist in planning your trip using Sydney’s public transport system. You can also download the “Tripview Lite Sidney” application to your smartphone for bus, train and ferry timetables.
Buses We advise that you purchase bus tickets in advance, as Sydney buses in the CBD district have a policy of pre-paid tickets on buses between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm on weekdays. You can purchase single trips or travel ten passes at most newsagencies. The nearest bus stop to Zara Tower is located on Liverpool Street, in front of Hyde Park. From here you can get buses to Paddington, Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach, Coogee Beach and Maroubra Beach. There are also buses in the opposite direction which would take you to Circular Quay, Leichardt, Glebe and Newtown. There is also the 555 shuttle bus, which is a free service that runs every ten minutes. It operates from 9:30am – 3:30pm on week days, 9:30am - 9:00pm on Thursdays and 9:30am – 6:00pm on weekends. The bus operates on a loop from Central Station to Circular Quay via George street. This is a great (and free!) way to get an overview of Sydney city.
Trains We are centrally located in between two train stations: Central Station and Museum Station. Sydney trains connect Sydney CBD with the surrounding suburbs of Sydney. If you feel that you will require a transport pass that allows for unlimited bus, train and ferry travel there is the option of purchasing a “Mymulti day pass” and “Mymulti weekly pass”.
Ferries One of the best ways to truly experience Sydney is to catch a ferry. Ferries depart from Circular Quay (a half hour walk from Zara Tower) and destinations include Manly, Double Bay, Balmain, Parramatta, Taronga Zoo, Darling Harbour and Cockatoo Island. Tickets can be purchased at the station.
Eating and Drinking The location of Zara Tower places you in the trendy neighbourhoods of Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and the Sydney CBD. This puts an array of great restaurants, bars, cinemas and theatres at your doorstep.
