About A Plastic Ocean A Plastic Ocean documents the newest science, proving how plastics, once they enter the oceans, break up into small particulates that enter the food chain where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are stored in seafood’s fatty tissues, and eventually consumed by us.

Where Do Donations Go? Your donation and ticket sales are helping fund plastic recycling containers for Grand Prairie schools. These containers will encourage the students, teachers and staff to recycle plastic on-campus, which keeps plastic out of our landfill, waterways, and ultimately the ocean. It also keeps wildlife, sea life and humans from digesting the harmful chemicals that plastics contain.

Special Thank You! We would like to thank all who donated to our program! Your donation will help Grand Prairie schools stay some of the cleanest and greenest schools in the nation.
