Project concept 2013
Act.in.UA – national educational project for students and graduates, based on the 'learning by doing' concept, getting to know international experience and practical use of knowledge in project management. Main task of the project – activation of the young generation of Ukrainian leaders, and providing the necessary knowledge and skills in project management in order to create significant contributions to society. Vision of the project: education of a generation of young active leaders of Ukraine. Target audience: university students who are interested in the practical study of project management and implementing their own initiatives. Students’ initiatives will be realized in three directions: «Change your city" - the implementation of initiatives that will contribute to the improvement and development of the city which is organizing the project. «Interact with business" - the implementation of initiatives aimed at developing business scope. «Help the environment" - the implementation of initiatives in the areas of environment, energy and environmental improvements. Goals of the project: To inspire young people to have active life position; To give practical knowledge to Ukrainian students in the field of project management; Realization of student initiatives is in three directions: «Change your city», «Interact with business», «Help the environment»; An acquaintance of the Ukrainian young people with international experience of realization of projects; Creation of groups of active young people who have different interests.
Results of the project: Project will be realized in the 7 cities of Ukraine; 300 Ukrainian students will take part in a project; 50 interns will take part in the project; During a project 50 student initiatives will be realized in three directions: «Change your city», «Interact with business», «Help the environment». Dates of realization: 01.02.2013- 31.03.2013 Project description Act.in.ua 2013 will take part in the 7 cities of Ukraine: Donetsk, Kharkiv, Lugansk, Odesa, Simferopol, Sevastopol and Uzhgorod.
The participants of the project are the Ukrainian students who want to get practical knowledge in the field of project management and realize their own initiatives with the help of interns. We are planning to involve 300 Ukrainian students and 50 interns to the project. During 6 weeks they will realize 50 initiatives in three directions: «Change your city», «Interact with business», «Help the environment». Main events in the project: 31.01.13 – 02.02.13 – International Training Camp (ITC) for interns – preparation conference where all interns should be present; 09.02.2013 – opening of the project in the cities; 11-17 03.13 – realization of the initiatives in the cities; 25.03.13 – official closing of the project in Kyiv.
