Droplet Pavilion During extreme weather conditions, people need a safe space to protect themselves. A shelter, providing a place to meet, live and recover, ensuring the essentials - access to potable water. The droplet pavilion, is a resilient structure made out of locally available materials, able to protect people during natural catastrophes. Its cylindrical core functions as a rainwater collector and storage, constantly ensuring access to potable water. Additionally, the droplet pavilion, located in Lombok Island and the Philippines, is a permanent structure with a flexible function. Local people will define its role, arranging the interiors for gatherings, crafts, or art exhibitions. The pavilion is a droplet of hope during the time of natural disasters.
