Peace Initiative Kenya (PIK) Project aims at improving national and county-level gender based violence (GBV) service delivery systems and policy implementation. PIK Project works with both Kenyan men and women as partners in GBV prevention, and stakeholders in leadership positions as change agents in the fight against GBV. During the period of October 2013 to September 2014, PIK Project has been able to:

Take part in 16 days of activism campaign and events (and other international days to increase awareness on GBV) Conduct an Audit of preparedness and capacity to respond to GBV in 9 specific

counties where PIK Project implements Engage male champions in GBV prevention and response  Train and mentor grassroots women groups and networks in GBV prevention and response  Engage in GBV working groups nationally and at county level  Mobilize government officials to form a forum through which advocacy against GBV is conducted  Provide GBV legal and psychosocial support  Support 1195 helpline  Enhance online mapping of GBV service provisionwhatever the type or cause “Violence,
