During the period of January to March 2015, PIK undertook the following activities:
Facilitating grassroots community forums and public events to commemorate the 2015 International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation, and the International Women’s Day Supporting the launch of 2015-2025 National Action Plan
Working with national and county government leaders to advocate and raise awareness on gender based violence issues Supporting survivors of sexual and gender based violence through Helpline 1195, and training them on entrepreneurial and product development skills to empower them economically and improve their livelihood Providing organization development and capacity building for implementing partners for sustainable GBV prevention and response
