Introduction: Childhood years have been the best years of my life. I keep looking for a chance to be able to go back and relive those days. Children create a world of their own, which is pure simple and sometimes imaginative. They have so much to share and talk about. I have always felt that they need and like to be listened to. Moreover, their thoughts are more important than thousands and billion of thoughts, words and voices floating around us. Its pure and real. This project is an attempt to bring out the dreams, wishes, thoughts and aim of children to people. To give children a platform where they could express themselve and make them realize that their dreams are not meaningless and are very important. To give people a trip back into the memory lane. because at some point of time everyone of us have had these dreams, visions and desires and how they transformed with changing time awhen mingled with harsh realities of life. To ispire people to rethink about their own dreams and make an attept to reconsider and fulfill them.
Experiences: Working with children on this project was a great experience. Their enthusiasm and willingness to share aurprised me. They had so much to share. Initially they were little hesistant but after a while they opned uo their whole imaginative world for me. Devansh, had a small diary where he doodled everything he could imagine and visuallize which included a discotheque too, Raghav, managed to make toys out of his stationary and he believed he could send things off in space.
Nothing seems impossible for them! Krishna (cheeku), was so much excited about his drawings as if there were hundreds of thoughts going around in his mind. Indtead of drawing the sheet, he chose to fold them into various shapes. I t became extremely difficult to capture his still image. Finally I did but I chose to put up the one with his multiple face blurring in both direction as it brings about his charactler more beautifully. Written by: Vallery Year: 2011
