Franco Fietes IThe Bob Baskin park cleanup was a success. We cleaned everything up from trash on grass, to the grills. I helped mostly with the cleaning up of the grass, and honestly I got tired really quick from it. Though, the people around me were fun, and they made time fly fast. I didn’t know how much work was actually put into a park clean up. The event was cool, and I hope to do another park clean up soon.

Candlelighters 5k Members cheer on the walkers. Members raise signs like superheroes

KYLE CAtarata The Candlelighters 5k event was an amazing event. We helped assemble and cheer on the runners. Near the end we disassembled the event. This event was touching to us since it meant a lot to the runners and as well as our Key Club.

Leslie Sharp The clean the world event was an amazing experience for me. Seeing hundreds of people that actually want to make a difference all in one room really changed my perspective on humans, all we see now is bad things about humans now on the news and tv shows, so it was really amazing to see so many people willing to give their time to help someone across the world that they don’t even know. It was also really fun packing up bags with soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste and a couple other things, but one of the best parts was being able to write a personal note to someone to put in the bag, so when the child got the bag he/she would have a smile on their face knowing that there are hundreds of people across the world that they don’t even know that care for them and want to help. The clean the world event was the best especially doing it with all my friends and dancing to the music and also being able to meet lots of new people young and old making a difference. The clean the world event was an experience that I believe that everyone should have, because the feeling you get from knowing that you are helping someone in amazing. I would definitely love to have that experience again.

Evander Bocalbos I volunteered at iron man this past weekend and I worked the food stands. The event was cool because I saw lots of runners, and how hungry they were. The Ironman had 3 dierent competitions in one whole race. There was swimming, biking, and running, and afterwards the competitors went to eat, and they got an abundance of food, and ate what I feel that they lost.

October Division Kyle CAtarata The October DCM was amazing. All the clubs discussed the original old and new business. We then talked more about FRS. Near the end, a representative from the children's miracle network, came to talk more about what CMN does. It was truly amazing and touching. We then ate donuts and socialized. It was awesome.Â

EVander Bocalbos I really enjoyed going to the DCM. Seeing the dierent key clubs made it feel like there was a lot more people in this community of people who want to help others. Everything we did at the dcm was really enjoyable and fun to do with everyone. Learning about what the other key clubs did for the community was great, it showed their dedication to the things they were taking part of.
