2022 Valley View Report to the Community

At Valley View, we are striving to be the region’s independent healthcare leader. The COVID-19 pandemic launched us into two intensive years of work to not only respond to the virus but lead the community in administering vaccines. While 2022 offered a reprieve from the pandemic, we worked harder than ever to advance our services and collaborations to drive our vision forward.

Incredible growth occurred in 2022 in services that are vital to the health of our community and distinguish Valley View in the region. We welcomed new providers such as Urologist Scott Castle, MD with the Rocky Mountain Urology Center, Orthopedic Surgeon Daniel O’Connor, MD with ValleyOrtho and Family Medicine

Physicians Haley Hoffman, DO and Karen Locke, MD with Roaring Fork Family Practice. Neurosurgeon Wade Ceola, MD, began using a new robotic platform for complex spinal procedures to support a heightened level of precision and accuracy during spinal procedures such as lumbar fusions. Lastly, urology patients began benefitting from new leading-edge minimally-invasive procedures to treat BPH including Aquablation.

With growth in patient care came growth in numerous collaborations. In 2022, we launched a new partnership with Memorial Regional Health in Craig to bring the services of both the Heart and Vascular Center and Calaway•Young Cancer Center to that community. This augments long-standing partnerships with other area hospitals such as Aspen Valley Hospital and Grand River Health to bring Valley View’s specialty services to patients of those hospitals. Partnerships with other entities such as local departments of health, Mountain Family Health Centers, human service organizations and more grew to support the whole-health of our patients and advance the well-being of our community.
