Fundamentals of Business Minor
A SUCCESSFUL CAREER STARTS WITH A STRONG FOUNDATION
The world of business has a profound impact on all of us. Whether your passion is art, astronomy, engineering, computer programming, chemistry, or any number of other fields, understanding the basic principles and methods of business practice can open up bright opportunities in both your professional and personal life.
The fundamentals of business minor offers an introduction to the foundational elements of finance, marketing, management, accounting, and other business disciplines. This minor is open to students pursuing their majors in the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, or the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
The six courses that comprise the fundamentals of business minor cover the basic aspects of how businesses operate today. These courses are taught in an enriching classroom environment, complete with students from across all disciplines, bringing a diversity of thought and perspective to classroom discussions. By complementing your major through the pursuit of this minor, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to foster success in your future career, no matter the field.
