Valpo’s bachelor of science in integrated public health and healthcare leadership is a distinctive program designed for completion in just three years. This innovative curriculum seamlessly combines foundational public health principles — such as health behavior, health services administration, environmental health, epidemiology, and biostatistics — with vital leadership training. By bridging these disciplines, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to drive meaningful change across diverse healthcare settings. From your first year, you’ll engage in real-world public health initiatives, developing the leadership and analytical skills necessary to improve population health.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum is structured as a dynamic three-year pathway, with an optional 3+1 track leading to a master of public health (MPH), culminating in a hands-on practicum experience during the third year. With an emphasis on evidence-based practice, applied research, and the development of critical leadership skills, you’ll engage in collaborative projects that address pressing local and global health challenges, learning to lead diverse teams, influence policy, and implement innovative solutions. With personalized faculty mentorship and access to state-of-the-art resources, graduates are well-prepared to excel in leadership roles across governmental, nonprofit, and private sectors or to advance their education at top institutions.
