Access College for Success
WHAT IS ACCESS COLLEGE FOR SUCCESS?
Access College for Success is a full-time, two-year program that will put you on track to receive an associate of university studies. With personalized, hands-on support as you navigate the college transition, this program is designed to illuminate your path, ensuring you feel grounded and empowered to thrive, at Valpo and beyond!
IS ACCESS COLLEGE RIGHT FOR YOU?
Access College is intended for bright students who are committed to advancing their education and can benefit from additional support throughout their freshman and sophomore years of college.
THE ANSWER IS YES IF…
• You will receive your diploma or equivalent by the fall semester
• Your cumulative high school GPA is 2 .0 or higher
• One or more of the following are true:
You are committed to your future and obtaining a college degree
You desire to attend a high touch college environment
You need a financially accessible college experience that offers federal and state aid
ACADEMIC STRUCTURE
In Access College, you'll earn an associate of university studies equipping you for a bachelor's degree and any path your bright future may lead you. You’ll explore careers, connect with your passions, and tap into the full range of academic and social resources Valpo offers.
To help you feel grounded as you transition, Access College includes a no-cost, one-week summer immersion experience, where you’ll gain insight and support from a peer mentor and success coach — setting you up to radiate throughout your college journey!
FINANCIAL AID
State, federal, and Valpo grants will combine so that the maximum annual out-of-pocket cost will be as minimal as possible. Eligibility and additional aid in the form of grants, loans, and campus employment are available to qualifying students based on the completion of the FAFSA (fafsa.gov) with Valpo’s school code (001842).

Valpo also offers reduced/reset tuition for the first two years of Access College, along with transfer scholarships available upon the completion of your associate's degree, making your pathway to a bachelor's degree even more affordable.
