CAMPUS RECREATION AND WELL-BEING
Campus Recreation and Well-Being at Valparaiso University provides comprehensive programming for holistic student, faculty, and staff wellness. With offices located throughout the campus Fitness Center, the department works to help create opportunities for informal recreation, competitive sport, fitness and group exercise, and wellness education.
OFFICE OF MULTICULTURAL PROGRAMS
The mission of the Office of Multicultural Programs (OMP) is to foster and maintain a distinctive, compelling student experience that promotes leadership in creating an inclusive environment and the deep appreciation, education, and celebration of diverse cultures. Our goal is to promote multicultural education by offering leadership opportunities and identity exploration to underrepresented students. Our program is focused on increasing diversity and equity in student participation at Valparaiso University.

Valparaiso University is committed to offering a multitude of student activities and recognized organizations on campus. The Center for Student Involvement is located on the first floor of the Harre Union and is a welcoming place for students to gather and collaborate with their organizations.
VALPO ADVANCING LATINO EDUCATION (¡VALE!)
Valparaiso Advancing Latino Education (iVALE!) is a task force that was created to further the transformation of Valparaiso University into an institution where Latino students are given the support and climate they need to succeed. ¡VALE! oversees Valpo’s initiative to become a Hispanic-Serving Institution by focusing on improving the recruitment, service, and culture that impacts the Latino student experience at Valpo.

CALLING AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
Calling and Spiritual Life promotes Valpo’s calling to produce graduates who will live lives of leadership and service. We do this by helping students reflect on their life calling, supporting the spiritual lives of students from all faith backgrounds, and fostering a caring and supportive community on campus. Our division is home to campus ministry, the Institute for Leadership and Service, church relations, and the Institute for Liturgical Studies. Our partners include St. Teresa’s Catholic Student Ministry, the Rifai Interfaith Institute, and the Lutheran Diaconal Association.

Our mission is to serve the needs of undergraduate, graduate, and MBA students from five different colleges and facilitate recruiting efforts for employers. Whether you’re a freshman just starting at Valpo, an alum, or an employer looking to hire talented Valpo students and graduates, our staff is here to assist you.
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
Valparaiso University provides a variety of student employment opportunities which allow students to gain leadership, team building, and communication skills coupled with hands-on experience executing the daily operations and events and office operations on campus. Areas of employment for first-year students include but are not limited to: Harre Union, residential life, Christopher Center Library, information technology, campus recreation and well-being, undergraduate and graduate admission, parking and transportation, dining, and facilities management.
STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS
Study abroad facilitates international education opportunities for Valpo students with more than 20 semester- and year-long programs throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa, with a number of shortterm, faculty-led programs running over recess periods.

ACCESS AND ACCOMMODATIONS RESOURCE CENTER
The Access and Accommodations Resource Center works in partnership with Valparaiso University faculty and staff to provide appropriate academic adjustments and/ or reasonable accommodations to qualified students with properly documented disabilities. We seek to ensure that all aspects of student life are accessible, equitable, and inclusive of individuals with disabilities.
COUNSELING CENTER
The Counseling Center offers a broad range of preventative, remedial, and developmental services to the Valparaiso University community. Our mission is to promote the psychological well-being of students so as to enhance their healthy decision-making and overall functioning. The Counseling Center assists students in overcoming personal issues that may negatively impact their ability to be successful and to make the most out of their experience at Valparaiso University.
STUDENT HEALTH CENTER
The Student Health Center provides professional, confidential healthcare, and educational wellness programs for full -time students. Located on the first floor of the Promenade East building, the Student Health Center serves all students to ensure their health and wellness while on campus.
RESIDENTIAL LIFE
The Office of Residential Life works to provide safe and comfortable living and learning communities. We intentionally design programs, services, and leadership opportunities to foster an environment conducive to achieving academic goals, personal growth, and the development of community.

VICTORY BELL ROOM
The Bloom Scholars Program is designed to academically, socially, and culturally prepare a cohort of newly admitted first-year students for life at Valparaiso University and beyond. The Bloom Scholars Program will be a multi-year model that provides an academic foundation, beginning with a four-week intensive summer bridge meant to seamlessly transition participants into their first semester at the University.
