Of a PURPOSED FILLED LIFE

Her Life • Her Purpose • Her Legacy

You Prepared a Place for Me~ John 14:1-3

On August 19th, 2023, early Saturday morning, I was home with my family in the comfort of my home. I was 69 years old when I went home to see my Lord. I was tired and just wanted to rest, so I did. Lord, there is no one like you and you already have prepared a place for me. To all my family and friends, don’t be sad because I’m in a better place now praising God. I can’t wait to see you on the other side. I love all of you.

A Time to Be Born~ Ecclesiastes 3:2

On September 6, 1953, in Batesville Mississippi, I was born to my loving mother Ruthie Mae Gordon and late father, Mr. Fred Lumas. I was the 2nd born of the 6 children.

A Time To Be Saved~ Ephesians 6:6-5/Proverbs 22:16

At an early age, I joined St. John M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Rainey. I was later filled with the Holy Spirit. I’ve always enjoyed singing and praising God.

A Time To Labor And Seek Enjoyment~Proverbs 22:16

I’ve always had a mindset to do God’s work because I enjoyed it. I enjoyed preaching and teaching God’s work. So always give yourselves fully to believing in Jesus just as I did. Keep taking those steps towards Him, you will not be disappointed. You will discover life as it’s meant to be lived.

Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow…

Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles , I’ve only gone to rest a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.

So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because I will remember you all

And look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest a little while.

I- Inspirational to us all

E-Excellent work you did for God.

Now you can rest in his everlasting arms.

When a loved one passes on, Their spirit never dies. And as we journey on alone, They're always by our side. Yes, I believe this happens, from little things I see. Each day a little message, an angel reveals to me. A whisper of the breeze On a quiet summer's day Is a voice from an angel, who sadly passed away. The gently falling rain, that lingers upon my face Are the tears falling from heaven from a wife I can never replace. The first snowflakes of winter, are an angel's frozen tears. A reminder of the love we shared , telling me you are near. A falling leaf in autumn, Is just another sign

To let me know you're watching me and I'm still on your mind.

Yes, all these little signs, they help me to believe That death is not the end and you're still here with me.

God looked around his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best

You can only have one mother, patient kind and true. No other friend in all the world, Will be the same to you. When other friends forsake you, To mother you will return, For all her loving kindness, She asks nothing in return.

As we look upon her picture, Sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus, take this message, To our dear mother up above; Tell her how we miss her, And give her all our love.

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me”

With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

We are here to celebrate your life And the measure of its worth And every single life you touched

While you were on this earth. We wish to pay our last respects. That's why we are all here, To thank you for your friendship

And all the memories we hold dear.

It's been a privilege to have known you. We were family, not just friends, And we will carry you in spirit

Until we meet up once again.

one that had a useful life; You wrought well while here. You were generous with your time, As you toiled from year to year.

Many lives did you touch, Always doing your part. Glad to serve when called upon, With a meek and humble heart.

Your life was dedicated to the things noble & true.

To lose you are very hard & tough ,knowing only the Good Lord is able to bring us through. You'll never be forgotten, though you have passed away. The deeds you left behind Will live on each and every day. We didn't want to give you up- So, Sleep on and take your rest. This act of God we dare not to question, For He alone, knows what's best.

Rest In Love.....Sis. Ruthie "Sue Baby" Crawford.

You Labored Well!!!!!!!!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your words have comforted us, your support has strengthened us, and your love has sustained us. We extend our deepest thanks to you for your kindness during our greatest sadness. We appreciate it more than words can express, and it will always be remembered.
