Canadian Family Experience viu.ca/homestay The Homestay Program provides international students with a safe and supportive environment in a Canadian home. Students are picked-up at the Nanaimo Airport or ferry terminal. Students have their own private bedroom, a quiet study area and three meals a day. Become part of the family, practice English and enjoy Canadian lifestyle.

Students are assessed in English during orientation day. Classes range from beginner ESL to exploring university programs. All activities and field trips bring a diverse group of international students together. The one thing everyone has in common is English.
