Lot 5. Vince Gill’s The Eagles Concert-Played Duesenberg Bonneville.
Vince Gill’s Duesenberg Bonneville played in concert with rock legends The Eagles.
This guitar is a sentimental artifact to Gill from a unique point in his career. Following the death of Glenn Frey, Gill joined The Eagles as colead guitarist, among other roles. Gill required a guitar that could aid him in performing some of the band’s most well-known hits. As such, this Duesenberg Bonneville was used by Gill during some of his very first performances with The Eagles.
It measures approximately 41.5” long and exhibits minor playing wear including faint surface scratches from stage use. It comes with a Duesenberg hard shell case and one of Gill’s The Eagles 2021 concert picks.
Zac Brown is the founder, front man, and lead vocalist for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning group Zac Brown Band.
In addition to being the founding member of Zac Brown Band, Brown is an impactful songwriter, producer, businessman, and philanthropist – making him one of the sharpest minds among today’s generation of artists focused on shifting the paradigm of the music business.
Brown was born in 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a family of 12 children. He attended the University of West Georgia and founded Zac Brown Band in 2002. Brown’s passion for music inspired him to start his own label, Southern Ground Artists, in 2003. From there, Brown’s first widely distributed studio album with Zac Brown Band, The Foundation, sold more than 5 million copies following its release in 2008. The lead song off The Foundation, “Chicken Fried,” also went 6x platinum.
Most recently, Zac Brown Band dazzled audiences and music critics alike with the release of their seventh studio album, The Comeback (Warner Music Nashville / Home Grown Music), which debuted as the Top New Country Album release and earned the No. 1 spot on the Current Country Album Sales chart. Brown co-produced the entire record and boasts a co-writer credit on every song, including the Top 10 lead single, “Same Boat.”
Brown’s commitment to giving back has been at the forefront of his career since day one when he founded Camp Southern Ground. The camp, Brown’s biggest passion, is an inclusive camp serving children ages 7-17 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, social or emotional challenges, and typically developing children. The camp’s off-season programming supports post 9/11 veterans in their readjustment to civilian life.
