Lot 20. Slash’s Signed Gibson Custom Shop “Victoria” Les Paul Goldtop Guitar.

Slash’s illustrated and signed Gibson Custom Shop Slash “Victoria” Les Paul Standard Goldtop guitar. The guitar consists of a maple top and solid mahogany body with a gold face and dark finish on the back.

Created to Slash’s specifications, the instrument features a C-shaped neck profile, Gibson Custom Alnico 2 BurstBucker pickups, hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors, and color coordinated hardware. Slash’s signature appears on the truss rod cover and his iconic Skully character is depicted on the back of the headstock.

Manufactured in 2021, the serial number “219710087” is engraved into the back of the headstock. Slash has personally drawn a large image of Skully in black felt pen on the body of the guitar, and signed and dated, “Slash 2021.”

The piece is accompanied by a vintage-style brown Gibson locking hard shell case. Accessories include an unopened pack of signature Slash Dunlop Tortex picks, a pick guard, a blank truss rod cover, a Gibson microfiber cloth, a strap, a Gibson screwdriver/hex key/socket wrench multi-tool, original quality checklist, and owner’s manual.

Slash himself notes that the model name of this beautiful Goldtop, “Victoria,” is a tribute to a girl that was instrumental in stealing a guitar exactly like this from his house years ago. The guitar is as-new and the case measures 16”x42.25” and 5.25” deep.

In addition to 100 million in world sales and penning many of their classics, their 30 U.S. gold albums make them the #1 American band for most certified gold albums.

Paul is also an avid painter with sales of over nineteen million dollars to collectors worldwide.

Stanley has further established his legacy when his memoir Face The Music: A Life Exposed debuted at #2 on the New York Times best seller list upon its April 2014 release and was followed by his second best seller Backstage Pass.

KISS is currently on their End Of The Road tour.
