Lot 24. Noel Gallagher’s Tour-Played Nash Telemaster.

Noel Gallagher’s custom Nash Guitars Telemaster played on tour with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. A cross between a Telecaster and a Jazz Master, the Nash Telemaster is a unique and versatile instrument with a great sound.

Custom built to order for Gallagher, the Telemaster is constructed of an alder body with a c-shaped maple neck and equipped with Lollar pickups. Sporting a retro 1950s tri-tone finish, the guitar has been factory relic-ed for a well-worn vintage look.

Close examination reveals surface wear to the pick guard from its extensive concert use. Gallagher’s hard shell Nash case is included, which has moderate surface wear throughout from its stint on the road. A carbon of Gallagher’s original order form and the hand-written product tag is included.

Chris Martin is the lead singer and co-founder of the band Coldplay. Forming in London in late 1997, Coldplay has gone on to become one of the most popular acts in the world, selling more than 100 million albums and releasing a staggering series of hits such as “Yellow,” “Clocks,” “Fix You,” “Paradise,” “Viva La Vida,” “A Sky Full Of Stars,” “Hymn for the Weekend,” and “Something Just Like This”.

In October 2021, Coldplay released their ninth album, Music of the Spheres, produced by Max Martin. The album’s first single, “Higher Power,” received its first play on the International Space Station by French astronaut Thomas Pesquet in May 2021 and back on Earth, topped charts internationally.

The second single from the album was “My Universe,” a collaboration with BTS, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard chart and was streamed more than 100 million times in its first week of release. The album entered the UK charts at Number One, becoming the fastest-selling album of 2021.

In 2022, the Music of the Spheres World Tour will take the band to stadiums all around the globe, including six sold out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium. The tour announcement was accompanied by a comprehensive set of sustainability initiatives and environmental commitments, including a fan-powered kinetic floor, one tree planted for every ticket sold and a show powered by 100% renewable energy.
