2. WHAT IS DETOX? Detoxification is an essential process for everyone due to the increased toxin exposure in our daily lives.
Detox means assisting the body with the removal of everyday physical and emotional toxins.
When you think about detox, I also want you consider not just the physical removal of toxins, but also the emotional aspect that may need to be released as well. Toxicity can build in many areas of your life - from social networks you keep, the stress that you experience, and the quality and quantity of the sleep you get.
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT YOUR BODY'S DETOX PROCESS?
1. Be good to your gut: add a good natural source of fibre to ensure your intestines can excrete toxins without difficulty. 2. Reduce stress: stress not only causes inflammation, but also causes poor digestion. 3. Keep your fluids up: toxins can be excreted through urine and sweat. 4. Give your liver some TLC: with some green tea, curry and cruciferous vegetables. Including the emotions in conjunction, with the physical activity, is the key for a deep elimination process.

Starting now, you will give up on what no longer serves you, and embrace transformation and evolution through detox!

Root vegetables such as carrots and sweet potato, they are easier to digest and good to relieve clogged up bowels • Prebiotics and probiotics. Especially from fermented foods, they strengthen your immune system and balance your gut flora • Vitamin C plus zinc. From eggs and orange fruits and vegetables • Antioxidant rich foods. Fermenting converts sugars – glucose, fructose and sucrose – into cellular energy and a metabolic by-product (lactic acid), which in turn produces fantastic digestive enzymes and healthy gut flora and cuts the sugar content of a food‌ all in one! These bacteria are one of the best natural remedies to heal gut problems. It should be noted that healing our immune system starts from the gut. Probiotic foods such as sauerkraut or pickled vegetables may be indicated to bring the gut flora into balance and strengthen the immune system.

7. NOURISHING HABITS Each morning upon waking, get in touch with what a gift life is: to breathe, to move, to love, to feel alive!
If you decide to start an exercise routine, start with light exercises and focus on strengthening the muscles in your core! As this holds the most important organs to keep you alive. These organs are held in place by muscles. That's why it's so important to keep them toned.
Pilates, yoga and walking are excellent for core strength, you can even active your core while you are driving!

Breathing exercise Breathing is an important part of the detox process, as it helps the body to restore its balance, oxygenate your cells and make you feel centred and in the present moment. This will also help reducing stress and anxiety.
Breathe in deeply for 7 seconds,
hold that breath for 7 seconds,
and then take 7 seconds to release the air from your lungs,
hold for 7 seconds, then start again.
Do this 7 times through!
My favorite way to do this is when walking (use the steps as your count and you'll find that the rhythm of it comes easily). But don't limit it to your daily walks.
Anytime you are running, taking a shower, or sitting at your office desk, go through the 7 rounds of 7.
After a few times of doing this, the effect you feel is going to speak for itself.
