In loving memory

Jesse Whitney 1924—2015

SFC. Jesse Whitney Beloved father, grandfather, and brother, fierce patriot who served in the United States Navy, U.S. Army and National Guard, WWII & Vietnam Veteran. Proud and devouted Catholic, loved everyone in his own special way, even if he sometimes didn't know how to express it, he was there for whoever need it and would always give you advice even when you were being stubborn, he had a big heart and would let everyone in, he could be a handful; specially on his last years but we will always love him, he wasn't perfect but he was ours for the time God allowed us to have him with us, we will miss him with all our hearts‌ God bless you Jesse Whitney & safe journey.

To Those I Love When I'm gone, release me. Let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy that we had so many beautiful years. I gave to you my love. You can only guess how much happiness you gave to me. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time I travel alone. So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes on.

So if you need me, call and I will come. Through you can't see or touch me, I'll be near. And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear all my love around so soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile, and say – “Welcome Home, you're finally here.”

When I am gone, don’t call me back. My life on earth will be no more. Peace I leave you, for my last act, I’m now beyond this earthly door. I’ll miss your laughter, tears will fall, but look within your aching heart, loving memories there – recall. Hearts stay together, bodies must part. I thank you for the love we’ve known. Please know that I’ll always be near and though I take this step alone, my soul whisper’s I’ll know you’ll hear. Live your life with courage and love, continue the fight you have begun. Proudly, I’ll watch upi from above, knowing through death, LIFE I have WON.

Thank you The Family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have been with us during this time of loss The Whitney Family
