VTO ebook newsletter uploaded to website Only recently 2-3 weeks ago, the VTO officer in charge of eMarketing and Website Ms Alcina Charlie, re-launched Vanuatu Tourism’s online news in the VTO website www.vanuatu.travel under Travel Services after 2 years since the last articles were published. Ms Charlie, has started to populate the section but rather in a slight twist compared to past presentations. This time round, instead of publishing individual news articles, she has embedded codes of each Island Nius ebook into the section and added a flipbook link for online viewers to read the full newsletter on ebook. This is to encourage viewer engagement and help to boost subscriptions to the Vanuatu Tourism Island Nius newsletter. Further upgrades and developments to the newsletter and an insight to VTO’s new guide will soon be announced. Check it out http://vanuatu.travel/travel-services/tourism-news/

The meeting was covered by Japanese medias including TV, radio, and new publications highlighting a very productive discussion which, according to VTO’s Japanese rep Mr Doyama, could easily develop into potential Port Vila and Ibaraki-ken sister city partnership, student exchange programs, Agriculture, farming, trade and tourism possibilities.
