News from the office Vanuatu promotes meetings and incentives in Australia The VTO Australia Office attended AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentives Meetings Expo) in Melbourne on the 26 and 27 February to meet with key conference, incentives and meetings organisers and promote Vanuatu as the destination to hold its next events. VTO conducted over 30 pre-scheduled appointments with qualified buyers from Australia and New Zealand over the two days. The VTO stand partners, who also conducted appointments, were Air Vanuatu, Holiday inn Resort Vanuatu, Warwick Le Lagon Resort and Iririki Island Resort. Tour De Monde Korea here last week Last week, Mr Byung Gu Yeo, Editor-in-Chief and Ms Kee-Hwa Hong, Photographer arrived in Port Vila on a famil to write for Tour De Monde Korea. The couple were on Efate and Tanna. The Tour De Monde is a guide to travel destinations magazine. It excels in informing readers about different trends, lifestyle and cultures around the globe and thus creating dialogue between diverse sections of society. VTO Webmaster Notice to Industry Members The VTO would like to advise all members listed on the VTO website www.vanuatu.travel that from 18-29 March 2013, the webmaster will be cross checking every listing on the website to make sure that products in the website are current members of their tourism association. On this, can all tourism associations email through their 2013-2014 membership listing by 15th March. If an accommodation or tour operator listed on the website is not a paid up member of its tourism association, the product will be removed until membership fees are paid to their association. Association committees please advise members of this important notice so all outstanding are met by your members.

The Vanuatu-produced South Pacific lifestyle magazine Pacific Island Living is set to launch an online version, its editor Tiffany Carroll has announced.
