Michel Kalpoi, the son of Linda Kalpoi (VTO GM) will be getting married this week on Friday. Last week, Mika (Info Officer), also tied the knot as Mrs Arthur (above) and her colleague Aurianne, will also be walking down that aisle as Mrs Rosbong next week on Friday! VTO congratulates all 3 and their spouses, and wishes them love, peace, joy, and prosperity in their new life together in marriage.

News from the Office SPTO Roadshow ends well

A group of travel agents at the SPTO Roadshow event that was held at the Paddington Hilton Hotel. The photos shows Jeanette Baude from the VTO and also the winner if the grand door prize to Vanuatu. Ambika works for Flight Centre in central London, she is second from the left lower row. A very generous prize was offered by Whitegrass Resort in Tanna, The Havannah and Holiday Inn with Air Vanuatu supplying airfares for two from Australia and onward to Tanna. Industry News Carnival: Vanuatu is very important to us

By Len Garae, Daily post Friday 13th December: “Vanuatu is very important to us and we are optimistic of the efforts that have been made so far”. Carnival Australia Destination Manager, Michael Mihajlov, made the remarks on his return from Santo yesterday, before boarding his flight back to Sydney. It was a trip which he spoke highly of saying he met with the stakeholders and was happy with the outcome of the meetings. Asked to elaborate on his visit to Luganville, he said, “We will open up more of Santo with four to five more tours to come on line next year” to cater for more visitor arrivals in the biggest island in the country… read more.
