The Pax is a trick little package that takes the nasty habit of smoking and brings it into the 21st century with high-end materials, consumer-level simplicity and supreme portability. Simply an alternative form of smoking various herbs, vaporizers heat up dried plant material to a level just below the point of

Using the Pax Device The Ploom device allows you to change the temperature setting by simply pulling off the mouthpiece and pressing down on a lighted button to cycle through three different temperature modes: low, mediu. It has a motion sensor which recognizes when it’s been put down and automatically lowers the heat level. The motion sensor allows one to check the battery’s charge between smoking sessions by shaking it, with the light blinking green when topped up and red when it’s almost out of juice.

How the Pax Vaporizes The Pax heats up in as little as 30 seconds. It can be heated to three different temperatures:
Low = 370 deg. F (188 C) Med = 390 deg. F (199 C)
Hot = 410 deg. F (210 C)
The temperature can be chosen with just a click of a button. The indicator light displays the battery condition, heating status, and the temperature. The temperatures displays as yellow, orange, or red light for: low, medium, and hot settings, respectively. Turning off the PAX by Ploom is as easy as retracting the mouthpiece back into the closed position. An automatic sleep mode after a short period is available for those who may forget to turn it off– a highly important safety in the PAX and a favorite feature.
