Are your customers sat in a tractor cab with poor air conditioning?
Are the cab filters dirty?
If your air-con system cannot draw enough clean air into the cabin and recirculate it efficiently, the cabin temperature will stay hotter for longer.
Is the tractor cab air tight?
Is the hot outside air coming in - Vapormatic has a wide range of cab glass, window rubbers, draught excluders & gas struts.
Check the receiver dryer sight glass for refrigerant movement.
If you see bubbles or no refrigerant movement this could indicate the system requires topping up
Is there 12V power to your air-con compressor?
Check your fuses.
Does the cab blower fan work?
The air-con system will not start if your fan has no power.
Don’t get hot under the collar this summer
Did you know?
Your air-con system has a filter called a receiver dryer - most manufacturers recommend changing it every 2-3 years. As this is a sealed system, it has to be drained of refrigerant to remove the filter. If you are having work completed and the system is being drained of refrigerant make sure you replace the receiver dryer, its an important part of the system!

By cleaning or renewing engine air filters saves money in the long run. Don’t forget to renew the inner intake air filter at the same time this one is just as important.
