What VAREP has to offer, why you should sponsor VAREP, and an overview of the 2014 Policy Conference ABOUT VAREP Established in 2011, the USA Homeownership Foundation, Inc. DBA Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to increasing sustainable homeownership and economic development for the active military and veteran communities. Affordable Veteran Housing VAREP and its members represent and work within all sectors of the real estate, housing and financial services industries including real estate agents, brokers, loan officers, mortgage brokers, title officers, escrow officers, appraisers and insurance agents. WHY SPONSOR VAREP? ·· VAREP is the only organization formed to educate the real estate practitioner on the important housing policy and lending initiatives that affect the military and veteran communities. ·· VAREP is a 501c3 community organization founded to directly educate the 1,411,425 servicemembers and 22,328,279 veterans on homeownership and economic opportunities that affect them. ·· VAREP Local Chapter development is expected to include 28 Chapters in 17 States with thousands of Members across America by December 31, 2014. We ended 2013 with 11 chapters in 6 states. ·· VAREP members are trained and certified to understand and handle the unique military and veteran culture through our Military and Veteran Housing Certification (MVHC) course. ·· Military spouses and veterans represent over 30 million consumers with a purchasing power of $1 TRILLION annually. 2014 VAREP POLICY CONFERENCE OVERVIEW VAREP hosts its Military and Veteran Housing Policy Conference from June 8–10, 2014 in Washington D.C. at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. This conference will be the first of its kind filled with educational sessions and town halls to educate attendees on important housing policy, lending initiatives, and economic development affecting the military and veteran communities. We will advocate for industry leaders and government officials to help us remove the barriers to homeownership and increase economic opportunities for the active military and veteran communities.
