Milestone is a standalone company in the Canon Group and we specialize in making video technology that connects cameras to recorders for operators to monitor. Milestone’s business has evolved into data-driven video management software that combines video data with other data sources to create an intelligent system.

Our company has established partnerships with two key groups. The first is technology partners, which include prominent manufacturers of cameras and access control systems. These partners work closely with our company to provide cutting-edge technology solutions for end-users. The second is indirect partners, value-added resellers and integrators operating within the market. These partners are essential in distributing our products and services to end-users.

This sets us apart from others as we refer to ourselves as an open platform. This means that we connect to a wide range of suppliers and offer a seamless integration process for our clients. This offers a significant advantage for our clients because it ensures smooth integrations and provides them with a choice of the bestof-breed devices. If a customer already uses a specific device or wants to include a particular device as part of their platform, this is only possible with our software. Unlike other manufacturers who only allow integration with their own solutions, our platform is open for integration with a wide range of software. However, it is essential to note that our platform is not open source, meaning others cannot program on it. Instead, our platform is available for integration, and everyone can seamlessly integrate.
