What is Endpoint Central and how does it help organizations manage and secure their endpoints?

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is a unified endpoint management and security solution that covers the endpoints, apps, data, and end-user experience from a unified console. With Endpoint Central, endpoints can be hardened as per IT compliance requirements before they are provisioned with apps, documents, and access to network and cloud resources. From the centralized visibility it provides, organizations can identify vulnerabilities across the network to patch them, monitor application usage to optimize licenses, audit USB usage and user logins to analyze incidents, and discover and mark sensitive files to prevent data loss.

How does Endpoint Central's webbased tool enable remote desktop connection management, and what are the advanced options available for remote desktop sharing?

Endpoint Central provides remote troubleshooting for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, iPadOS, and rugged devices. Technicians can chat, call, or meet people virtually for hasslefree remote troubleshooting sessions.

Endpoint Central offers postreboot session re-initiation, unattended remote access, file sharing, multi-monitor and multi-session support, bandwidth optimization, user consent, and session recording among many others. To facilitate frontline workers better, IT technicians can enable or disable kiosks, clear app data, and even restart devices through remote chat commands.

To cater to non-intrusive troubleshooting use cases, Endpoint Central provides real-time insights into services and tasks running on the devices, event logs, and startup apps with options to terminate or restart problematic processes. Remote command prompts and PowerShell windows can be spawned for advanced, intrusion-less troubleshooting.

What are the new products and the services that you will be showcasing at GISEC 2023?

We will be showcasing all our offerings at GISEC this year. This includes Endpoint Central, endpoint DLP, and application and device control to provide preventive controls. Most recently, anti-ransomware capabilities were added to provide incident response. This comes as ransomware-as-a-service has seen exponential growth.

Yet another recent feature we launched is the security and risk posture management dashboard in Log360, ManageEngine's unified SIEM solution with integrated DLP and CASB capabilities. Enterprises can leverage this new feature to implement proactive security strategies and prevent cyberattacks before they cause damage. We will be showcasing Log360 at GISEC.

What are the features of ManageEngine's mobile email management solution for securely configuring and managing corporate email accounts on mobile devices?

Endpoint Central’s mobile device management capabilities can be leveraged to provision popularly used email clients with accounts and protect sensitive data by configuring the app’s DLP settings remotely. Emails, contacts, and calendars can be synced on schedule for uninterrupted access. Endpoint Central sets up encrypted workspaces on personal devices to secure email and other sensitive data by defining policies to regulate the flow of data between personal and work spaces. These include prevention of screen grabs and recordings, Bluetooth and USB transfers, clipboard access, cloud backups, and native sharing through apps.
