Proposal developed for an event about Design (Design Conversations). The event was to be divided into two areas of intervention. A first part of discussion, with guest speakers and a second one with an exhibition of projects from Graphic and Product Design students from IPCA- Polytechnic Institute of Cรกvado and Ave. The concept of the project derived from the Portuguese Expres-

The concept of the project derived from the Portuguese Expression “Conversas que se pescam” which means “Random Conversations You Can Pick Up/Understand {fishing ideas}”. This event had a multidisciplinar and informal profile, in which ideas and creativity were born from these conversations.

The concept of the project dirived from the dish name itself, and in the several festival seasons it is used a pun between the name of the dish “Little Frenchie� and France, using humor, irony and comparison. This idea also intends to captivate the local residents, but mostly our immigrants that return to Portugal in the summer. Video

DIGITAL GAMES CENTER The main objectives of DIGARC are the development of applied research in various fields of computer graphics as well as transferring knowledge and technology to society and the business community. Currently, the center develops its research and development activities around three main areas, namely Medical Devices Interfaces, Digital Animation and Computer Graphics. The results of DIGARC, related to its activities in applied research and development of technological solutions, are disseminated through scientific and technical publications, development of functional prototypes, and training of the next generations of young researchers.

Being aware that the name of this institution refers to the “St. Vicent” ( Saint protector of children), I made a brand that transmits the feeling of protection by the “Guard Angel” reforced by the position and orientation of the arms. The Guardian Angel is individual and a universal symbol of love and protection.

PERSONALIZED COMMUNICATION This type of communication, allows a more emotive style and approximation from the parents side, with a pattern made by each student. Creation of Identity and Editorial concepts, and media advertisement of the project “Granite - Value Creation and Trends.� The design corresponds to the production of a study / monograph on the granite commercial market for professionals such as engineers, architects and entrepreneurs.

In developing the concept I elected two main vectors in the creation of identity: _The Cutting granite block (cubes); _A Form of cut diamond; In developing the brand there were used the specifics of granite, hardness and durability, with the binding of elegance, value and resistance of the Diamond. We have therefore in the form of the brand, a combination of various blocks in which their “union� represents a new structure with a new symbolic value of strength and worth.

P A C K A G I N G Packaging for special range with three varieties of a brand of food or drinks fora low cost brand.
It has been proposed to develop a special range with three varieties of a brand of food or drinks from the national or international market. To meet this end, I performed a brainstorming, in which I performed a search by various brands and quickly came across the brand Rio Sul. This is a “low cost” brand from my home city, with a lot of different products for small markets, with coffee included. So I took this product, that already exists, and made a special edition for work. This edition is a competitor beverage of the traditional small portuguese coffee, with a new way to take coffee (American long coffee). The varieties are Coffee, Barley and 20% Coffee.
