For this project I’ll be redeveloping an abandoned locating near Romford station. It will be redesigned into a high tech design centre for the local community. Romford has no exabits to do with
My goal is to design a centre that teaches and experiment on technology, it will have a wing where it will be specifically on teaching 16+, this centre will also have a public museum full of all the new high end technology. There are no other gallery except a war museum which is rarely visited. There are no other galleries or public learning spaces. However there is a cinema and an annual film festival. My high tech design centre will provide learning spaces, museums about the development and tech over time, exhibiting new technology, art made with new technology and tutorial slots. This will help 16-24 for their confidence with the work and for a wider understanding, it will also help with skill building for any transferable careers revolving around this subject. However this course can also provide an experience for 65+ with their confidence relating to young people and they will also be have someone new to learn.

Romford is reasonably large and this project will attract younger people to go there or even stay. It is also a good location as there is good transport links like the Elizabeth line that is only a 5 min walk away, also local schools/colleges. With London's population expanding Romford could be a real attraction as it has a station 5 min away and a new line such as the Elizabeth line.

I have chosen Romford as my location and here is where I'll be creating and designing my high-tech Centre, I have chosen this location as the surroundings have zero color and no main attraction. Romford is a town with high population of people aged 37 onwards, this Centre will allow more young people to integrate with this area.
